For making good flower photographs you must use proper focus and diffuse light. It's better
to set the camera to spot focus mode, in this mode you will view exactly what camera focuses
in close-up flower photography. If you can, use a tripod to exclude any unwanted camera
movements, this will ensure sharp photos.
Avoid the camera flash when photographing flowers, is better to use daylight. The best
daylight is when the sun gets through some white clouds, in this way the bright light is
easily stopped and the flower texture will be visible on the image. Soft light will give
pleasant results without burned out portions on the flowers.
